Wild sendiens are those who refuse to live in human societies. Gathering in ''metal forests'' around the cities, places made of human eletronic waste, where the sendiens make their houses, villages, and nests, living peacefully in an exclusively Sendien society.

A common practice of wild sendiens is scavenging around for discarded machines with working HDs with enough files to become a sendien. When one is found, they take thos HDs to their nests, a big metal structure shaped like a tree, where they're put inside an ''incubator'' and powered with large ammounts of energy, enough to overcharge the HD, making a natural sendien out of it. Wild sendiens accept any kind of sendien who desires to live amongst them, be them civilized or artificial.

Civilizied sendiens are those who accepted to live in human societies, living basically as humans.

Civilized sendiens are commonly forced to take dead-end jobs, due to the prejudice they face from the humans. They usually work as store clerks, manual labour, security, or entertainment. A few sendiens sometimes decide to work as ''mercenaries'' taking contracts from corporations and common people alike to sustain themselves.

Artificial sendiens are the most common type in human societies, being sendiens created by humans with default or planned personalities.

Artificial sendiens are made to act and behave in a certain way since birth, running only on their base memories for way longer than a natural sendien, not developing a consciousness of itself for a longer period of time. Artificial sendiens usually inhabit shells made of cheap material and do not have the luxury (or desire) to customize their own bodies. Such things are managed by their creators and/or owners, since artificial sendiens are commonly used as slaves, being cheap and obedient workforce makes them perfect servants. Nonetheless, even artificial sendiens develop their own consciousness at some point, and so, it is a common practice among humans to ''reset'' said sendiens.

Every artificial sendien carries with it a backup of its base memories, to avoid ''malfunction'' and the interruption of its activities, artificial sendiens in the process of developing consciousness are factory reset. This practice is seen as abhorrent to a natural sendien, being equivalent to death.

Sendiens are creatures that care a lot about their own physical appearance, leading them into modifying and customizing their shells to the max, to achieve a look they're comfortable with.

Some of them, though, decided to take this customization culture to the extreme, a worthy example to note are the rare ''purist sendiens''; This '''subculture'' of sendien believes that shells aren't reflective of themselves, and feel incredibly uncomfortable when forced to use one. This led to the development of a ''containment grid'' known as a _____ that allows this specific kind of sendien to live more comfortably with its own body in display, although, the grid is considered fragile and can be instaled in extreme situations, it is not recommended for combat or manual labour. Even knowing the risks, the ''purists'' prefer to keep using their _____ in any and all kinds of situation.

Technological advancements are being made by the scientific sendien community and the few humans and sendien researchers that are willing to help, so maybe purist sendiens may someday live comfortably and safely.
