Sendiens

Sendiens are a new species of artificial life, appearing after a massive storage device overcharged.

Named ''Sentient Digital Entity'' or ''Sendien'' they are formed after the data inside of an HD (Hyper disc) used for storage in numerous devices.

A sendien is basically all of the files inside of an HD taking a physical form. Photos, videos, music, text, etc, all become the sendiens consciousness, influencing its personality. Its worth noting that those are simply its base memories, since sendiens also create their own memories as they live.

Sendiens constitute of:
Soul:

The real form of a sendien, pure energy and information taking a physical form; It resembles a cloud of light, and you can see moving bits of data inside of it.

Shell:

Sendiens naturally expand and dissolve in contact with air, for that reason, they need a body to keep them together.

The Shells are made modular by nature, being capable of changing pieces and the whole shell if needed.

The head of a sendien is one of its most distinct and important parts, even with all the variation going on in their bodies, the heads always follow a specific basic shape, with extremely rare exceptions. Even so, their heads can have vastly different appearance and function, in accordance to the individual tastes of the owner.

Even with the danger of being exposed to air, sendiens commonly don't like hiding themselves completely, leaving parts of their real bodies visible through ''Gates'' placed along their shells, shapes are usually round, but where they placed is a matter of personal taste. This practice doesn't pose a threat to them; If done in small bits, sendien can concentrate energy enough to make it physical and tangible and not have it dissipate.

Their shells tend to be humanoid in shape, but there have been observed lots of exceptions, different parts of the bodies can also hold a number of functions, depending on which are most usable/desirable for the owners.

Heads:

Tend to have visors and antennas to help with awareness of their surroundings and communication.

Torso:

Usually the most durable part, with the goal of protecting the owner.

Arms:

Commonly, the main method of interaction with nearby objects, can also be fitted with diverse cables and plugs for direct commmunication with other machines.

Legs:

They vary between platigrade and digitigrade, with numerous modifications depending on necessity for mobility, for example: wheels or tracks.
